Taxes and The eBay Seller. Now is the time to plan for next April 15th

April 21st, 2007 by Skip McGrath

Special tax breaks and overlooked deductions are available for eBay sellers and online business owners

Tax day is over unless you filed for an extension.  One thing I have learned over the years is that the few days and weeks before you file your taxes is the worst time to save money on taxes.  It’s the things you do during the year –and how you run your online business that save you money at tax time.

Just for the record, I’m no tax expert.  But I do know how to outsource to good people, and tax strategies is just one of those things I want to outsource to top experts.

The problem is that most CPAs and Tax Experts know very little about selling on eBay and online marketing.  I have a great CPA, but it took me two years to educate him about my business so he could understand it well enough to maximize my deductions and minimize my taxes.

My CPA, Stephen, does my taxes but Eva Rosenberg, aka "TaxMama", is the tax expert I look to for strategies especially for Internet marketers.  She’s been online for more than ten years herself, and knows the business issues inside out.

You may have heard of her, since her best-selling book Small Business Taxes Made Easy was on Entrepreneur Magazine’s list of top tax books for 2005.  Plus she writes for places like Women’s WallStreet and MarketWatch and a bunch of others.

Anyway, Eva says that eBay sellers and Internet marketers can use their special knowledge and skills to buy or build internet marketing assets inside common tax-free accounts.

This money builds tax-free and comes out tax-free. When I showed this to my CPA he was blown away.  He is both a CPA and a Tax Attorney and worked for the IRS for over 10 years.  When he saw just one of the neat little tricks Eva reveals, he exact words were: "I feel really stupid. This has been in the tax law for years, but I never saw how it applied to your business."

Anyone can do it, actually, but Internet marketers have huge advantage in being able to do it quickly and easily because of their inside knowledge.

Imagine how much faster you can build toward true financial freedom if you don’t have to pay up to half
your income in taxes? Legally!

Now that’s worth looking into.  And the information is practically free. Click here to see a really special low cost offer that will save you money at tax time if you plan now.

It may sound too good to be true, but it’s not. The strategy uses common accounts that Congress
recently created to encourage people to save for their own retirement, because they see the Social Security crisis looming.

It’s much easier than you think.  No complicated, weird, shady offshore stuff — just familiar accounts
that you control.

Even if you don’t want to take advantage of these accounts, the tax saving tips are worth far more than the $7.77 cost of the report. This program has my personal endorsement and I actually use many of these techniques. Just click here to read more.
